Budgetori Privacy Policy

Budgetori is a household finance and planning application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when using Budgetori.

Depending on how you use Budgetori, we may collect and process the following types of information:
- Account information: email address, username or display name, password hash, email verification status, and login-related information.
- Household and member information: household groups, members, sharing settings, and related permissions.
- Finance and planning data: income and expense entries, credit card records, planned projects, travel plans, reminders, comments, and related budget information entered by you.
- Technical information: device type, app version, access time, error logs, security logs, and information necessary to operate and protect the service.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your Budgetori account.
- To provide core app features such as household finance management, budget planning, travel planning, reminders, and data synchronization.
- To allow sharing and collaboration between household members when you choose to use sharing features.
- To send necessary service emails, such as email verification, password reset, and important account notices.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve service reliability.

We do not sell your personal data.

- When you share a plan or household item with other members through Budgetori features.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections such as HTTPS. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide Budgetori, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data unless retention is required by law or legitimate security reasons.
